SAULT SAINT MARIE, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – No matter what your plans are this weekend, you will want to bundle up.
Brutally cold temperatures blew into Michigan on Wednesday and more are expected this weekend.
Amasa in the Upper Peninsula hit 33 below zero, while Sault Ste. Marie boasted 20 below. Ironwood dipped to 18 below. Amasa is in line for a string of frosty nights in the coming days, as is Stambaugh, which is predicted to hit 15 below zero this weekend.
That all might sound balmy compared to temperatures recorded in 1994, when Amasa reached -54 degrees.
How cold is it where you live?
