With a spring in his step, Joe Biden tackled his first press conference as President yesterday afternoon. With predetermined questions being hurled from CNN and other Democratic outlets, Biden was able to tackle the border crisis, COVID-19, and even add in a joke or two. But while the event played out like an act of local theater, Biden still appeared dazed and somewhat perplexed by the words coming out of his own mouth, especially when the topic of his re-election came up.

Not even 100 days in and Biden is making the presidency look like an episode of Gladiator. From pushing the press away to learning how to walk up stairs again, Biden has proven he is not only physically but mentally unfit to be POTUS. But with the entire country hanging in the balance, why not see if the oldest person to ever be President could make it another four years.

During the press conference, CBS News correspondent Nancy Cordes asked, “Have you decided whether you are going to run for re-election in 2024? You haven’t set up a re-election campaign yet, as your predecessor had by this time.”

Giving that great American chuckle, Biden eased into the question by first bashing former President Trump before giving a simple answer. “My plan is to run for re-election. That’s my expectation.”

Even the reporters seemed to pause at this news given the Democrats have been silent on what 2024 holds for the party. Soon after, another reporter dug deeper into the question before being cut off by Biden. He said, “Look, I don’t know where you guys come from man. I’ve never been able to travel. I’m a great respecter of fate, I’ve never been able to plan four and a half — three and a half years ahead — for certain.”

That statement alone sums up what the foreseeable future with Joe Biden as President will look like. He rambles off so-called facts and makes statements without thinking of the repercussions. And what about the one leadership skill every President should have – foresight!

Do you think that Biden will last as President until the end of his term?

Not being able to plan ahead is what landed Biden at the center of a border crisis, but then again, all steam ahead for 2024.
