Being President is more than just winning an election and signing an extraordinary amount of executive orders. It’s about being tested. And right now, President Biden is failing miserably. As the world watches, he continues to deny a crisis at the border, won’t make a single speech, and now can barely make it up a flight of stairs. And if that wasn’t enough, the Biden Administration received a warning from Kim Jong Un’s sister days before North Korea tested two short-range missiles against US policy.

The news of the missile tests was first reported by The Washington Posts, who ran the story saying “they represent Kim’s first direct challenge to President [Joe] Biden, whose aides have not yet outlined their approach to the regime’s nuclear threat amid an ongoing review of the U.S.-North Korea policy.”

While the Biden Administration follows their usual rhetoric of not talking about it, it should be noted that North Korea has ignored any communications between Biden and the communist leader. That was until his sister, Kim Yo Jong, released a statement saying, “We take this opportunity to warn the new US administration trying hard to give off powder smell in our land: If it wants to sleep in peace for (the) coming four years, it had better refrain from causing a stink at its first step.”

The statement from the leader’s sister comes after the country publicly complained about the United States and South Korea amping up their military exercises in the southern country.

For the past couple of years, America and North Korea have been under a handshake agreement over the use of long-range weapons. Former President Donald Trump famously met with Kim Jong Un in 2018 where the pair discussed their future and North Korea stopping their testing of long-range missiles.

Since that meeting, North Korea has not fired a single long-range missile but continued to push the capabilities of its short-range arsenal. Then, in a military parade last October, the country unveiled the largest intercontinental ballistic missile in the world, causing a major concern.

Even last week, the Commander of  the U.S. Northern Command, Gen. Glen VanHerck, told Congress, “The Kim Jong Un regime has achieved alarming success in its quest to demonstrate the capability to threaten the U.S. homeland with nuclear-armed ICBMs, believing such weapons are necessary to deter U.S. military action and ensure his regime’s survival.”

With both a warning and test of a missile, the Biden Administration has yet to make a comment on the matter, with only senior officials saying it was nothing more than “normal” activity.
