LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said she will not investigate Gov. Gretchen Whitmer over coronavirus-related nursing home deaths in the state.
Gov. Whitmer rolled out a similar policy to New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo. Those policies dictated that COVID-19 patients be placed in nursing homes to recuperate. The New York Attorney General now estimates Governor Cuomo undercounted nursing home deaths by as many as 50 percent.
Breitbart News asked Nessel’s office whether she would conduct a similar investigation and the short answer was “no.”
In related news, Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido (R) said he believed a committee [1] should investigate Gov. Whitmer for coronavirus-related nursing home deaths, which is a change to his campaign promise.
